Support for Sophie

Our family has been rocked by a devastating situation. My niece, Sophie, was diagnosed with ocular melanoma. In the last two weeks she has endured two surgeries as well as numerous tests and scans. Thankfully, it appears the cancer was confined to the tumorous mass, but there are many more tests and scans to come in the following weeks and months to ensure prompt medical attention if the cancer returns. Her case requires travel to and from Boston, leading to extensive travel costs for my sister, who is the sole provider for her household. The medical bills will be substantial.
