I am the cousin of Shannon Head, and I am starting this GoFundMe to help alleviate the many unknown expenses that she and Robert will face. Many of you know and love our Shannon, a woman who pours her heart into the children she teaches and community—especially as a beloved 4K teacher. She’s a wife, mom, friend, and teacher, and it’s now our turn to pour into her with prayer, thoughts, and financial support.

Recently, she received news no one ever expects. After months of monitoring a liver mass and following God’s lead with incredible faith, discipline, and courage, she was referred to the Mayo Clinic in Florida. What followed can only be described as God’s hand moving quickly and intentionally—appointments accelerated, approvals granted, and answers unfolding far faster than expected.

While there is still uncertainty, doctors have identified a very aggressive tumor that must be removed. Her liver resection surgery is scheduled for January 8th, out of town, and she will be away from home for an extended period surrounding surgery and recovery. Because of the timeline and the need to protect her health, she will not be able to return to work with her students during this season.

Through all of this, she continues to walk in extraordinary faith—trusting God fully, believing He is the ultimate healer, and resting in the peace He has given her. Her prayers are bold, her hope unwavering, and her testimony already powerful.
