Eileen Powers works at My Grandma's of New England as a customer service rep. She has worked here for 11 plus years, she has been a consistent fixture with My Grandma's over that period of time.
Recently she was diagnosed with a tumor on her kidney and was told that they would not know anything until after surgery. She is scheduled to have her kidney removed the 2nd week of March. This will cause her to miss work for at least the entire month of March. With the fact that her husband is unemployed, her absence from work puts a real burden on her and her family. She is also the primary caregiver to her 12 year old son, Devan.
Eileen is a proud and humble person, she has tried to do everything on her own without help. But all this news has overwhelmed her and put her in a very difficult situation. We at work have decided to this without her knowledge. Hoping that a little bit of help from many people will take the pressure off. Please help us with reaching our goal, any contribution will be gratefully appreciated.
God Bless,
Vic Otero
