Baby Briggs

As many of you know, my nephew Luke and his partner, Kayla, welcomed their 3rd beautiful boy on April 27, 2 months early due to potentially life threatening complications with the pregnancy. Despite such an early arrival, wee Briggs has been an absolute champ and is working hard to meet all the requirements to be able to come home. However, as you can imagine, being in the hospital in Regina for all these weeks has meant A LOT of travel back and forth, with 2 other boys at home in Weyburn to look after. Their expenses have been tremendous, and there are more to come, with special monitors and pumps and feeding tubes etc. , and appointments with the paediatrician, speech pathologist and occupational therapists. The strength with which Luke and Kayla have weathered this is nothing short of amazing. Not only has it been financially stressful, but emotionally and physically exhausting as well. We are all so grateful that Briggs has had everything he needed to help him along, and the doctors and medical staff to ensure that he and his Mama would not only survive, but THRIVE. We have started this Go Fund Me in an attempt to alleviate some of the financial burden for them, and because so many of you have asked how you can help. Anything you can contribute is so very appreciated, and if you can’t, then we would simply ask that you share it and keep them in your prayers. We can’t wait for sweet little Briggs to come home!!!!
