Ambrose's campaign for The Inner Hero

The Inner hero first began with an idea in 2012, sprouted from the mind of Ambrose Russell, a Liberian immigrant who grew up in Ghana under his grandparents who adopted him from his mother at just 4 days old. It was when he was living in Ghana he realized he wanted more, and to be a better outstanding person of the world that at 22 years old he decided to move after getting granted access to citizenship to the United States, where he met his now wife of 19 years. She had 5 children and was widowed at the time, most people would not adopt this responsibility, but he knew that this was something special. In this process he became The Inner Hero, having 2 of his own children with her-  assuming the role of a leader, teaching and guiding these children like they were his own.

Our Mission To provide youth with educational and career resources, along with mentorship that motivates and empowers them to become productive members of society. To support education and informational activities that increase community relations with local officials.


The Inner Hero is a community-based service that serves the community and Police Dept.  Fire, Armed Forces and Politicians - bringing all facets of the community together with a common mission: eradicate judgements using communication and education. Mentorship programs, school breakfasts connecting law enforcement and Government representatives hands-on with school kids. This outlet provides connection essential for growing closer as. Community - eradicating hate, violence and miscommunication.


With the money we raise we will put it back into the community schools, prisons and community centers : uniting the people inside those establishments. From within we create a change so the outside world can look different. Great change starts with great people. We look forward to affect positive change in your local community soon.
