Our loyal friend Butch Crawford needs our help!
There is an old saying "when it rains, it pours" and Butch is in the middle of a storm hitting from several fronts.
Last month, his number one fan and son, Harrison was in a serious motorcycle accident. He had to quit his job which included room and board and come home to Butch to mend. He has a significant recovery and while he has insurance, he is not eligible for unemployment or disability insurance. Butch has had to scramble to cover his share of the medical expenses while adding an extra mouth to feed.
An urgent crisis is that his wheelchair is broken and desperately needs to be replaced. The wheel is falling off and Butch is afraid to go to the mailbox in its current condition.
His dad was severely burned in an accident last month also when his oxygen supply exploded into his face and beard. Butch needs to spend as much time as he can with his dad while he recovers but the travel costs are too much to bear on his negative household budget.
Lastly, before Harrison ' s accident, before his dad's accident, and even before the wheelchair broke Butch was trying to gather the money to move back to Oakhurst to be closer to his dad. He still has hopes of coming home to Oakhurst with our help.
Butch has done a million things for his friends and he loves us. It's time to help Butch out so he can get through these trials. Together we can help Butch get through this storm, keep his mobility, and take care of his family.
Please help me help Butch.
Love and Hugs,
Anita
