Gymnast needs funds for European Championship
Donation protected
My name is Lena and I am an acrobatic gymnast. I started training when I was four. I am now thirteen, and my enthusiasm for the sport has only gotten stronger. I train 18 hours a week with my partner Maxim, and work tirelessly even on holidays to stay in top form. Maxim and I have competed in the Elite squad as a mixed pair since the beginning of 2022. We have competed in numerous competitions and this year we won two bronze medals in international competitions (Belgium and Poland).
A few weeks ago, we were selected to represent Great Britain at the European Championships which will be held in Varna, Bulgaria in October this year. When I recieved the news, I was beyond excited.
Since I can remember, one of my greatest dreams was to compete at big competitions like the European Championships.
However, competitions can be expensive (travel, accommodation, fees, competition leotards, tracksuit etc.) and my parents have always covered the cost, but now we are struggling to put together enough money for this competition.
I would be grateful for any donation, no matter how small.
The amount raised will only partially cover the costs, but my parents will be able to cover the rest.
In return for your support, I will volunteer sorting food for homeless people at Nourish Community Foodbank as part of their programme.
I want to give back to my community to achieve my dreams, and with your help this can become a reality.
