Gym based Marathon Fundraiser in honour of our friend Jay.

A friend of ours, and beloved Everlast gym member, Jay D Martin, sadly took his own life earlier this year. We wanted to do something in his name, so we have organised a fundraising day for a local charity which supports young men with mental health challenges and neurodiversity: something that Jay unfortunately struggled with!
The Charity is called The Archie Matthews Trust.
So, we aim to achieve several marathons at Everlast Gym Cheltenham on Saturday 5th July 2025 between 9am and 3pm.
Activities include, a roller marathon by Wheelchair athlete Les Hampton, collective Spinathon, Swimathon, Sled push and more.
Get involved! Come and support us and give generously to this important local charity in memory of Jay!

The Archie Matthews Trust was set up by the Matthews family in 2024, in response to the loss of Achie to suicide.
Archie had ADHD and Autism and was well known to local services and agencies from a young age. However, he did not receive the support he needed to overcome the challenges he faced.
Archie found it difficult to accept and talk about his neurodiversity and mental health difficulties. In the last month's leading up to his death, Archie's family tried to find local support networks for young men like him, but there was no suitable provision available! There was nowhere for Archie to seek reassurance that he was not alone! This is something we want to see change in our local area.

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit ARCHIE MATTHEWS TRUST, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
