Hi my name is Lori, I am one of Ernie's many friends. Ernie had surgery on January 2, 2024 and it was a little more extensive than he anticipated. There was a few bumps on the road to recovery. Ernie is still in the hospital and will be for a bit. His family has been taking turns to be by his side at all times. Ernie's 2 sons are up from California and currently staying at a motel close by the hospital, and we all know that isn't cheap. I am starting this fund with the intent to help raise money for Ernie and to help cover the cost associated with his recovery and the long uncertain rehabilitations needs when he gets out of the hospital, as well to support Ernie's family as they continue to be be his side day in and day out. Please keep our dear friend and his family in your thoughts and prayers and we will update his status as it becomes available.
