This is my sister Daci. On Sept 4, 2015 she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Over the course of these last couple months I have watched her strength and admired her courage as she faces the toughest battle of her life. She remains positive and wears a smile on her face. As people ask how she is doing, she always replies that she is doing great and immediately asks them instead how they are doing. That's just Daci. She has always looked out for everyone around her often putting her own needs or wants aside. Though this may only be the beginning of this fight, I have already seen so many people come forward to show their love and support which is an outstanding testament as to what she gives to all who know her and how much she is loved. Daci is not able to work any longer and has no life insurance. She has 3 children and her husband has been working double time picking up her shifts which leaves him very little time to be there for her and the kids. She has been too proud to ask anyone for help but my hope is to help offset the expenses that continue to build. Many of you have asked me how you can help. I know I can't fix it all for her but I am hoping that together, we can at least help ease some of the burden she is shouldering.
