In October 2021 Stacey Rodrigues was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) Breast Cancer less then 2 months after moving from Huntingdon Valley, PA where she was a hugely popular and beloved member of the Philmont country club staff.

 

Although Stacey is no longer with us at Philmont country club she left an unbelievable impression with all of our membership and staff. She is truly one of the most positive people you will ever come across and is considered family to many members and staff. The move was extremely difficult but certainly pales in comparison to what she now faces. Stacey is fighting for her life!

 

In just a matter of a few months Stacey's entire world has been turned upside down. She moved to a new area where she doesn't know anyone, started a new job and sadly diagnosed with breast cancer. In a short period Stacey will begin treatment for her cancer by first receiving chemotherapy but unfortunately the cancer is so aggressive that she will require a double mastectomy as well as radiation.Stacey faces a long recovery that will unquestionably effect many aspects off her life. Lost wages are inevitable and the anxiety of that along with her diagnosis will be overwhelming at times.

 

Her Philmont Country Club Family is asking all our families, friends, business associates or anyone with just a kind heart for financial support to help cover medical expenses and loss of wages so that she can worry less about finances and and focus on the fight of her life!! Many who have known Stacey for years, many just met her and all who came in her presence fell in love with her. Beyond just being one of the most positive people with one of the all time best smiles she is first and foremost a single mother of a beautiful 5 year old Alex.
