Help Bruno Get the Surgery He Needs

Hello, my name is Gabriel, and I’m reaching out to share my son Bruno Agustín’s story.

Bruno is 7 years old and has faced incredible challenges since before he was even born. At 26 weeks of pregnancy, we learned something wasn’t right—he had stopped growing and moving as he should. By week 28, the situation became critical, and on February 24, 2018, Bruno was born prematurely.

From the moment he came into the world, his fight began. He spent four months in intensive care, underwent two eye surgeries, and was eventually diagnosed with cerebral palsy, level 3 autism, and epilepsy.

Today, Bruno is 100% dependent on us. He can’t communicate his pain or needs, and when he has severe crises, he often hurts himself as a way to express his discomfort. He still requires diapers, daily medication, and intensive therapies, which are costly but essential for his well-being.

Right now, Bruno urgently needs a surgery called orchiopexy to relieve the pain and inflammation he is experiencing. The pain has worsened his crises, and it’s heartbreaking to see him suffer.

We are asking for your help to make this surgery possible and give Bruno the relief he desperately needs. Any contribution, big or small, will help cover the costs of his surgery, medications, and continued care.

Hola, mi nombre es Gabriel, y quiero compartir la historia de mi hijo Bruno Agustín.

Bruno tiene 7 años y ha enfrentado desafíos increíbles desde antes de nacer. A las 26 semanas de embarazo, nos enteramos de que algo no estaba bien: había dejado de crecer y moverse como debería. Para la semana 28, la situación se volvió crítica, y el 24 de febrero de 2018, Bruno nació de manera prematura.

Desde el momento en que llegó al mundo, su lucha comenzó. Pasó cuatro meses en cuidados intensivos, se sometió a dos cirugías de los ojos y finalmente fue diagnosticado con parálisis cerebral, autismo de grado 3 y epilepsia.

Hoy en día, Bruno depende al 100% de nosotros. No puede comunicarse para expresar su dolor o sus necesidades, y cuando tiene crisis severas, a menudo se lastima a sí mismo como una forma de expresar su malestar. Aún necesita pañales, medicación diaria y terapias intensivas que son costosas, pero esenciales para su bienestar.

En este momento, Bruno necesita con urgencia una cirugía llamada orquidopexia para aliviar el dolor y la inflamación que está experimentando. Este dolor ha empeorado sus crisis, y es desgarrador verlo sufrir.
