My hero, my Dad
Donation protected
Hi all, as some of you are aware my dad has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, as you can imagine this has come as a big shock to our family as my dad is one of the fittest men I know who even at the age of 70 (sorry dad) was still working full time.
So I am doing a fundraiser to help the Alzheimer’s support team and my dad, for those who know him knows his love for rugby union he played for yarnbury rufc since I was just a little girl on the second row number 5 so I thought to myself what would be the best way to try and raise as much as I can whilst it meaning something to us as a family so if you haven’t already guess it that’s right.
AT 43YRS OLD I AM GOING TO PLAY MY FIRST EVER GAME OF RUGBY UNION, SECOND ROW NUMBER 5
This will be at yarnbury rugby club Brownberrie lane horsforth on the 31st of Aug I will be playing with the amazing women’s team kick off to be arranged, we are going to make this a fun filled day for everyone not so much me haha I may need an ambulance so please come and watch there will be lots going on and most of all I will be getting thrown round a rugby pitch for 80 mins.
This is a huge thing for me as anyone who knows me knows I have my own medical condition so please dig deep and donate even if it’s just a £1 every penny counts,
Hope to see you all at yarnbury 31st of Aug. Xx
Thanks Claire xx
