GY6: Emergency Surgery for Retired Trooper K9 Bane - GoFundMe Campaign

I’d like you to meet K9 Bane. Bane is a nearly 8 year, extremely successful, veteran of the Illinois State Police K9 Team.

He’s served ALL OF US with INTEGRITY, SERVICE and PRIDE…and now he needs our help.

On July 9th, just before his 8th birthday, K9 Bane suffered a sudden collapse and was rushed to his primary veterinarian. Bane was diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular condition caused by a softball sized mass in his chest on his thymus gland and retired from service.

FORTUNATELY, with surgery to remove the mass, K9 Bane is expected to make a full recovery to enjoy his earned retirement years.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Without our help, the only alternative to protect K9 Bane’s quality of life is EUTHANASIA.

Today we begin a GoFundMe Campaign to raise $15,000 to fund K9 Bane’s surgery.
