My first & beloved pet Jax is in the hospital after falling 4 stories and will need 2 surgeries - one for his jaw and one for his leg. Both of these surgeries are estimated to be anywhere from $4,000 - $6,000 each which is a bill that would take the wind out of anyone's sails but during a pandemic it is astronomical.
I consider Jax the first "love of my life". I got him at 19 shortly after my cat-loving mom passed away and I moved away to college. This cat has always been everything to me — a confidant during the struggles of school, a fuzzy pillow to help ease nights of grief and a fun, sociable creature to all he meets.
My love for Jax inspired me to foster pets that aren't quite as lucky as him. We've raised puppies & 2 litters of kittens that all had successful adoptions. He always took the role of "fun uncle" and took the kids under his wings. He is a young guy and should have a long life ahead to help more foster friends. I truly can't imagine what my life would look like right now if I didn't get him 5 years ago.
I am a bartender that first lost my job due to covid-19, found another job and have worked minimally since while trying to do other jobs to produce income including a marketing business, selling clothes, babysitting, etc. There is no way in the world I can pay this money right now and I'm looking for ANY financial help possible to take care of his expenses. I am also happy to for trade work in any way I can help!
Just when I thought I was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel- was working again- things were opening, my world came crashing back down. Please consider opening your heart, skipping this weeks' coffee and helping me out.
