I never thought I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but here I am — trusting that someone out there might understand and be willing to lend a hand.

Recently, I was involved in an accident that left my car damaged beyond repair. That car was my lifeline — it got me to work, to school, and everywhere in between. Without it, everything has become harder. As a full-time teacher and a graduate student, I rely heavily on having reliable transportation to manage my job, my classes, and my future.

This summer, I’m supposed to start a new job — a huge step forward for me — but without a car, that opportunity feels like it’s slipping through my fingers. I’m doing everything I can to raise the money I need by July: saving every penny, taking on extra work, and cutting back in every way I can. But truthfully, I can’t do it all on my own.

That’s why I’m reaching out for help.

Every dollar will go directly toward getting a dependable car so I can continue working, finish my education, and keep moving toward a better life.
