Local Sweetheart Musician Injured

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!! Everyone who knows me, knows that I am a loyal, supporting friend. This young man is one of the sweetest, most genuine young men I've ever met in my life. He has been raised by a mother, Lisa English, and father, Karl O'neill, that decided early in his life that they weren't meant to be a couple, BUT yet, they have done EVERYTHING to raise this child TOGETHER with nothing but love and support. He graduated high school and performed music on the side. . . he tried an insurance career and decided that MUSIC is his true love. He has gone through several avenues of trying to advance his musical career but it seems there is not enough of a "back story" to create a future among these avenues that he was advancing easily through. Watching this young man perform, not only brings tears to my eyes, but gives me the kind of goosebumps that I KNOW that one day he will be BIG. REALLY BIG. I firmly believe that. . .not only because of his talent but because of his character. The kind of character that you would only HOPE that your own child would have. He comes by it naturally and his parents support him in every way, shape, and form that you can imagine. He had a rough week last week. Not continuing on a path through a promising venue and then to come home to try to return to "normal". Being the kind gentlemen that he is, he encouraged a very intoxicated man to stop harassing some women that he was near. This man unprovoked took him by surprise and SMASHED a glass mug straight into his face and broke his nose wide open along with causing severe lacerations along his entire face. THIS is his life. His career. He is in front of a crowd to perform and now has been permanently disfigured with the hopes of being repaired and recovered with minimal damage while his mother faithfully remained by his side through every sleepless night in the hospital. He was worked on by a plastic surgeon for several hours and kept in the hospital under observation for a few days to make sure that there were no complications. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY INSURANCE. This not only affects the fact that he will have substantial medical bills, but it will incredibly impact his ability to have income for at LEAST several weeks. He is in desperate need of assistance. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE find it in your heart to help and support Erik in making it through this traumatic period in his life. ANYTHING you can give, would be GREATLY appreciated and really needed. Please support Erik O'neill and give any amount of money that you can to keep the dream going and continue his quest in being a successful musician. He IS and will continue to be amazing but needs some help to get through this rough time. Thank you in advance for anything that you can afford. PS - the pictures are following his journey. . . each day he is getting better but cannot perform or provide support for himself. . . let alone attempt to pay for these horrendous medical bills. The assailant was arrested and jailed but it is doubtful that he will be able to provide any relief or assistance for the damage that he has done.
