Our sweet dog needs urgent dental surgery

In February, our dog was diagnosed with severe dental issues and told she would need surgery. Unfortunately, the cost was far beyond what we could afford at the time, so we’ve been feeding her soft food and trying to keep her comfortable.

Over the last few days, her face began to swell badly, and last night we discovered blood coming from her cheek. We rushed her back to the vet, where we had to cover antibiotics, pain medication, and bloodwork. On top of already caring for another pet who is on lifelong medication — and with everyday bills piling up — we’re at a point where we just can’t cover everything.

We truly hate asking for help, but we don’t know what else to do. There are openings for her surgery in September, and trying to raise the money and we want to make sure she isn’t in pain any longer than necessary.
