Help My Grandmother Fight Breast Cancer

Hi, our names are Darla and Tijs, and we

are 30 and 29 years old. Darla is writing this story on behalf of her beloved grandmother.

Three years ago, I moved to the Netherlands , and since then, I’ve made this beautiful country my home. I was raised by my loving grandparents in the Philippines, alongside my two sisters and my cousins. They sacrificed so much to care for us, providing a stable and nurturing environment when we were young.

Now, my grandparents are in their later years and can no longer work, leaving our family with the responsibility of supporting them. This is our way of saying thank you for all the love and care they gave us as children.

Recently, my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she urgently needs surgery. Unfortunately, the financial burden of her treatment is too much for our family to bear on our own. My sister and I are doing everything we can to help, but we simply don’t have the resources to cover the full cost of her surgery and medical expenses.

We’re reaching out to you in the hopes of raising enough funds to help cover the costs of her surgery and ensure she gets the treatment she desperately needs. Every donation, no matter the amount, will have a huge impact and will bring us one step closer to giving my grandmother the chance to fight this illness and continue being the pillar of our family.
