Our friend and bandmate Adam was hit by a truck on Valentine's Day Feb 14th while walking to work. The truck driver thought he hit a curb. Nope, just Adam. Luckily Adam's immediate injuries were minor however it has caused pain and aggravated his chronic fibromyalgia and degenerative back pain he's been trying to live with. In addition, he experienced emotional distress when the local hospital did not take his condition seriously. Due to his time recovering at home, he is unable to work for what could be weeks (or months) and of course, unable to play in our band Material Objects. Not to mention, the incurred expenses of the hospital and medical bills he's about to receive.

Adam is a well-loved member of the community and a talented musician living here in Ithaca. If you've ever visited Angry Mom you'll know him to be the outgoing, gregarious and Chi-Pepps loving dude behind the counter. He's always more than happy to connect and engage with customers recommending records to anyone who asks. He's also been a creative and inspiring part of Material Objects.

This incident has put a serious strain on his life, as well as the life of his partner Lindsay.

Please give what you can and support Adam until he can get back on his feet.
