Support for Dad's Stage 4 Cancer Battle

It is with a broken heart that I share my dad has stage 4 gastrointestinal cancer. Just 2 1/2 months ago we were celebrating my birthday singing and dancing and being the happy family that we are. These last months have been a total nightmare. A nightmare that I can’t wake up from. My dad has lost about 25 lbs in 2 months and cannot do chemo because he is not strong enough to withstand the treatment. We have been in and out of hospitals since April and continue to be.

I know my dad is loved by many. We are asking for donations for all the hospital expenses, holistic medications, treatments, extra expenses coming our way, living arrangements, etc.

We are all going through a very hard time but we remain hopeful and know that God is in control of our lives. We know that God loves my dad and is His son. He has served Him many years and even in candid moments of pain I hear him whispering ,”thank you God” Although we don’t understand why he is going through so much, we are remaining strong in our faith. Please pray for my mom and I as we navigate this hard moment. Please pray for my kids as they love their Atito so much. My husband. Please pray for all of our family. My aunts, uncles, cousins, and all the people that love him so much. Please pray for strength and comfort. As many as you know, I’m a daddy’s girl, and it’s so hard seeing my dad this way. Please pray for my mom. My dad is her first and only love and this is so very hard for her. No amount is too little. Thank you

Con el corazón roto les comparto que mi papá tiene cáncer gastrointestinal en etapa 4. Hace apenas dos meses y medio celebrábamos mi cumpleaños cantando y bailando, siendo la familia feliz que somos. Estos últimos meses han sido una pesadilla total. Una pesadilla de la que no puedo despertar. Mi papá ha perdido unos 11 kilos en dos meses y no puede hacer quimioterapia porque no tiene la fuerza suficiente para soportar el tratamiento. Hemos estado entrando y saliendo de hospitales desde abril y seguimos haciéndolo.

Sé que muchos quieren a mi papá. Estamos pidiendo donaciones para todos los gastos del hospital, medicamentos holísticos, tratamientos, gastos adicionales, alojamiento, etc.

Todos estamos pasando por un momento muy difícil, pero mantenemos la esperanza y sabemos que Dios tiene el control de nuestras vidas. Sabemos que Dios ama a mi papá y es su hijo. Él le ha servido por muchos años e incluso en momentos de dolor sincero lo escucho susurrar: "Gracias, Dios". Aunque no entendemos por qué está pasando por tanto, nos mantenemos firmes en nuestra fe. Por favor, oren por mi madre y por mí mientras atravesamos este momento difícil. Por favor, oren por mis hijos, ya que aman mucho a su Atito. Por mi esposo. Por favor, oren por toda nuestra familia. Mis tías, tíos, primos y todas las personas que lo aman tanto. Por favor, oren por fortaleza y consuelo. Como muchos saben, soy una niña de papá, y es muy difícil ver a mi papá así. Por favor, oren por mi madre. Mi papá es su primer y único amor y esto es muy difícil para ella. Ninguna cantidad es demasiado pequeña. Gracias
