My Wife and I rescued little nugget named Octavia Bean Schlegel over three years ago. She is the smallest dog with the biggest heart. She has a brother named Baxter who loves her dearly. She had a freak accident and slipped a disk in her back, puting her in paralaysis. The vet said she has a 50/50 chance of walking again and a 10 % chance of developing a life threatening situation that would force her to be put down. She went through immediate surgury and is in recovery. This surgery was very costly and maxed out my credit card. Our family has had an unfortunate year where our house flooded and cost us our life saving to repair and rebuild. I currently am laid off my job I thought I would have for a longer period of time and struggling financially to make ends meet. I would give every penny I have to save my dog, and am also trying to pay a mortgage so my 15 month old daughter can live in a house in a good school district. I hate to beg for money but am in a bad spot right now. We need to pay close to $2,000.00 after pet insurance. Up to $6,500 if they deny the claim.
