Gwyn Thomas

Hi my name is Shaun Thomas I am fundraising to help with funeral cost for my brother Gwyn who suddenly passed away on the 2nd of August 2022.

My mother is 84years old and not on any means tested benefits to claim a funeral grant from the DWP and she has been talking about having a very basic funeral with no mourners or flowers etc due to cost.

Gwyn had many friends who loved him and a Facebook post informing people of his death attracted well over 300 comments from friends and people who have just seen him round and about or who Gwyn used to say hello to, he had a facial disfigurement which since early age has caused him distress in his younger days but as he grew older he just got on with life and would not retaliate if anyone made any cruel remarks to him.
