Please continue to donate to help our mother cover hospital stay costs, air patient transport, medical expenses including palliative/hospice care and funeral expenses. Dear Family and Friends, we are fundraising for our dad, John Licari. Our father recently had symptoms of what we thought could be a virus and or Covid. Our mother found our father on the floor, the morning of Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 and he could not lift himself back up. After calling 911, he was taken to the hospital. They ran tests and the results were so critical they airlifted him to a specialty hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This is when we found out he had a ruptured aneurysm in his brain which had occurred a few days prior. He has since been on a ventilator and will need ICU care and frequent angiograms to evaluate pressures in his brain. He will need extensive therapy after overcoming the procedures/surgeries as needed. The funds raised will help cover his medical expenses, lengthy hospital stay, as well as any therapies he may need. This will be an extremely long road to recovery and we pray he can return to functioning as normal as possible.
