Help me fix my house

Donation protected
This is the most embarrassing thing I've ever done, but I don't have any other options.

The story goes like this: 10 years ago my wife and I bought a house. When we separated, she stayed there and was planning to fix it up so we could sell it. I had no idea that she got into financial trouble and the problems with the house started piling up. Some of them we knew about, some happened pretty recently. Now we're in the process of getting divorced, she wants to move, and there's no way I can afford to pay the mortgage much less fix the place enough that it can sell.

I've tried several of those 'buy your house for cash' people, and what we owe--a little under $71,000--is a lot for those kinds of sales. Add to that the laundry list of things that need fixes, and I can't find any way to unload the house. My options are either raise the money to fix it and sell it, or go into foreclosure and eventually bankruptcy.

For myself, I wouldn't really care about going bankrupt. But my ex is the co-signer on the house and I want to avoid causing her any more grief than she has to deal with already.

Some of the repairs include:

*A new furnace
*A new AC unit (both of which I've talked to a guy about getting done very cheaply as these things go)
*A new roof (which I'll have to do myself to keep costs down)
*Some electrical work
*A new hot water heater (because the guy that installed the last one did it wrong, apparently, so my 5 year old water heater is ruined)

*If enough money comes in, I'll also tear out the old tile that's falling apart in the hallway and kitchen and replace it with a nice simple linoleum or vinyl flooring depending on what's on sale.

I have some of my own money I can put toward this, but even with that, the goal of this campaign is a minimum. I suppose if some super rich person decided to drop $70,000 as a kindness, I'd just fix the house up and live in it or something, but I don't ever count on winning the lottery.

I'm hoping this campaign is shared widely enough that people like me all over the place, folks who work a regular job (I'm a factory worker) and who've been in tough spots, will be willing to throw in a couple bucks. If every one of my Facebook friends donated $10, it would cover this initial goal.

I don't care about making a dime on the house. I've tried to basically give it to the Cash for Homes people for the cost of the mortgage so I could walk away and keep my ex from having her credit ruined. I struggle with money every day, and I've been so stressed for the last few weeks I've barely been able to sleep. I've thrown up from the anxiety pushing down on me all the time.

I really just need some help, and I'm hoping that even if you can't afford to put in a few bucks, you'll share this campaign with a kind word or two.
