Unfortunately, on May 20th after 3 months in remission Jayden's leukemia came back. Tomorrow they will head back down to Childrens in Little Rock for another round of chemo. As of now they are saying 2-3 weeks but they aren't for sure.

For the past 3 months Jayden has been down to Children's weekly for testing and seemed to be doing better.

This year has taken a toll on Rhonda and Vernon financially. Now with this next stay upon them Vernon will be down with Jayden as much as possible. Anything you can give to help them would be greatly appreciated. Please also continue to pray and keep this amazing family in your thoughts and prayers.

With permission from Rhonda and Vernon I am setting up this GoFundme for their family. Their 14 yr old daughter Jayden was diagnosed with Leukemia.

On Novemeber 25, 2024 what they thought was just a very bad virus was every parents nightmare. Jayden was diagnosed with Acute Myeliod Leukemia (AML). They were sent to Children's Hospital in Little Rock where they administered the first round of chemo. They were given a tentative release date for this week just in time to spend Christmas together comfortably in their home. Due to complications they will not be leaving, and do not have any idea when they will be able to go home. Jayden has already undergone 2 surgeries, and is scheduled to get a 3nd today (Dec 19). She has received a blood transfusion, and is scheduled to receive a blood cell ablation. As of now she is on a morphine drip because of the pain she is experiencing.

Unfortunately, Vernon has not been able to work since the diagnosis. Living 2.5hrs away from the hospital attempting to drive back and forth doesn't work. Jayden wants both her parents there as anybody could imagine. Whatever you can give to help ease their financial burden would be appreciated. The last thing they need to worry about are bills. I will try to keep updates on here as well.
