Please help me as Ive been robbed on May 1.

HI- Yes Its Laura and im still here only now im being taken to court becausr the property owners want my lot so they can can get new tenants and the rent will be doubled. This is a false allegation against me. I dont know who this person is "katelyn Rose Cox " .i went to the precinct and told the officer on duty that I want my address removed from her file because this person has never been in my home nor do i know her. The property management cant get me out based on non payments so now they made up this story saying i violated my lease !! I have a lawyer and will fight this to the end . Then i will sue them for harassment and defamation of character . They keep harassing me and refuse to leave me in peace. My disability hasnt begun yet and if I dont pay the rent it will just give them more of a reason to take my home. God I am asking you for peace -i want to be left alone without aggravation from the office.

They dont care that i am the last remaining person of my immediate family. Everything in this house is of sentimental value. It belonged to my mother and her sister and its all that is left of them. I cant let anything happen to these things as they are life long memories . First it was the rent issue and now they found other ways other ways to make me miserable.

I need a lawyer to fight this allegation

Because what they are accusing me.of is hear say and they have absolutely no proof of what they're accusing me of and i need a lawyer to prove its all lies.i went to the precinct and the officer on desk duty said that the managements lawyer had made up the story to get the property back .

This is past tense - what has begun the whole problem here since last June .

For those of you that dont no my story let me start by saying I am about to lose my house if I dont pay the office 2300.00 on or before March 20 2024.

I have court that day because i owe rent from Nov 1 2023 until present .

I have no income and I cannot work because Im waiting to have spinal surgery. I have sciatica , scoliosis and degenerative disc disease . I have no transportation where I live nor do I drive. Things are very hard and about to get alot worse if I have to get out. I have 2 rescue cats that I love very much and I cannot imagine separating them or having to leave them in a shelter ,that would destroy me as they are really my family and all I have left. I am the last one left from my immediate family as I have lost everyone , most recently was both of my sisters last December 21 days apart and my life has been on a spiral downfall since .

Its one thing to be in mourning for 1 sister but Im mourning both of my sisters and without them I cannot describe how bad things have become since. Losing them has been very hard but losing the house is another whole story. All the family memories and sentimental things of my Aunts ,my mother's and my sisters are here and if i have to leave the house Ill lose absolutely everything . I cant even put these things in storage because i dont have no assistance to pay for it . I am waiting on SSI - disability to start so If i am able to pay the office what I owe them Ill finally be able to pay my rent every month and wont be in this situation again. I have to get that money within 2weeks and when I tell the judge Ill be able to continue paying my rent now- everything is about to change .Ive waited along time to get help here as Ive been denied public assistance 7 times in the past 14 months . Now I dont need to apply nomore because SSI has finally approved me medically and lll be able to pay future rent once I get passed the arrears and I wont lose my house. If I dont come up with the arrears by March 20 its over and I dont know where Ill end up. I am 64yrs old and completely alone , Disabled and dont know what or where i will be come March 20.

Please please help as after this I wont have to ask anyone to help with my rent nomore I just need the past 5 months of arrears paid and Ill be able to pay the rent going foward - God willing this nitemare will be over. Its been a long time coming the past 2 years since Ive been left alone without my sisters.

Plz note : The fees that have been taken out by gofundme and all the ATM fees ,late fees,legal fees that have been added to my arrears and late fees have gone way over the arrears they said in the paperwork I received. It was 1940.00 and now it's gone up to 2284.02 . I don't know how much more they'll add in court ,probably won't dismiss the case until April rent is posted . They did this same thing last June for those who have been following my ongoing struggle since 12/2022. 

I made it thru court Wednesday.

I was able to pay the arrears thanks to my donations here Guys i made it - THANK YOU !!

All i have to wait for now is my disability to begin and Ill be able to pay my own rent - amen !!!

The case against me will be dismissed in 30 days. i have to pay my rent on time no later then the 5th of the month.

That all I am asking for help with otherwise theyll take me back to court if I dont pay it, starting AprilWell they wouldn't take my rent instead they have false allegation against me that is not true . I will fight this toll i cant fight nomore. I need help with the rent until disability begins . Your help is very important and appreciated. I will update every week as to what is going on here and when the next court day is. Thank you !!
