Gwladys, Jennifer & Emmanuella

Hello, our names are Gwladys, Jennifer and Emmanuella. On March 1st we heard the worst news any children could ever hear or bear. We lost our mother Afi Berlinda Dzila to Leukemia Lymphoma. Our mom's story has been hard for the past couple of years. On April 20th 2021 Our mom was rushed to Stafford Hospital ER due to severe pain in her abdomen. We were then informed that her gallbladder was inflamed and she needed a cholecystectomy. After fighting hard against the surgery our mom finally said yes to the surgery. At this time Gwladys was 17, Jennifer was 15, and Emmanuel was 6 years old. It felt like our world was falling apart but we had faith in God. Our mom had the surgery on April 22nd and was Discharged on April 24th. After she had the surgery we thought everything was fine, but little did we know we had to drive her back on May 22nd to find out she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Leukemia Lymphoma. We were crushed and our hearts were shattered. As a lot of people may already know, it was just the four of us. She was all we had. Not only was she our mom, but she was also our dad, our best friend, our provider and our protector. From May 22nd, 2021 up until March 1st, 2023, all we could do was hope, pray and beg God to heal our mom and not make us orphans. Unfortunately, on March 1st, 2023, our mom was called to glory. Gwladys turned 19 on March 28th without her mom and Jennifer will soon graduate high school without her mom. As Emmanuella is only 7 years old right now, all we can do is pray for God to personally heal her heart because she’ll never know and feel the joy of having her mom see her graduate from elementary, middle and high school. Our mom was a strong woman of God and a hard-working woman. She was loved and adored by many because of her gold heart. She was a tremendous giver and a helper. Many people have come forward to testify of her goodness and kindness.

As her kids, we have come together to ask for your generosity. We have a long road ahead of us as children and it has been made 10 times harder without our mom here to support us. We need anything anyone can offer us financially. Gwladys is a freshman in college, Jennifer is a Sophomore in high school and Emmanuella is in second grade. We need all the help we can get to have a home to sleep in and food for us to be able to eat. Please, anything is appreciated.
