I am raising this money to help cover the funeral expenses of my father Bill Campbell.

December 26th, my birthday, my dad decided to have his favorite grandson, little Rudy, over for a sleepover because he wanted to go to church with "Grampa" in the morning. Well early in the morning on December 27th my husband got the dreaded call from our son who is 8 years old, he was crying and saying Grampa had fallen in the bathroom. My husband rushed over there to check on him and he called me at work to let me know. So I called 911 from work and rushed over to my dad's house.

Dad was rushed to Munson Hospital in Traverse City and after tons of tests they determined he had a fully blocked carotid artery which caused him to have a massive stroke.
The first day he was responsive and cracking jokes with the nurses and doctors but the next 2 days he got worse and the swelling of his brain led to the inability to breathe on his own. On Tuesday December 29th at 2:18pm my dad took his last breath just after the pastor of his church who was out of town came back and prayed over him.

Unfortunately, my dad did not make any plans in the demise of his death and we are a family of 4 struggling paycheck to paycheck. I am an only child and am forced to ask for this kinda help at this time. This came at such a shock to all of us because he was so strong and so healthy full of life and personality.

My dad will be forever missed and I pray that he is at peace with the Lord now and in a better place. I pray the Lord will help us gather the funds needed to help with my father's funeral, he is going to be buried 05/26/2016 (which was actually the day he was born as well) in Onoway Michigan.
