My name is Nicholas DeBrino, my family and I are creating this page In honor of Derek Becker. To all that have known and have been fortunate enough to meet this amazing person I ask that you consider contributing to this fundraiser.
Derek was the life of every gathering, social event, baseball game, etc. At any given time he always had a smile on his face. I got the chance to play against Derek in baseball when I was younger and soon enough ended up playing together. We created a friendship that turned into family and now I will always refer to him as my brother. His competitiveness on the field was truly a blessing to watch and be apart of. Derek was one of the hardest working guys I have ever played with. No matter what game or what day it was, you knew that every time he was out there he was going all out, there was never an in between. Derek had the toughness of an athlete that not many people have. His will to succeed at baseball and at life was an inspiration that I got to be apart of. I am one of many that are grasping on how to cope and what to do with the tragic event that has occurred. This young man has effected many people's lives in such a positive manner and will be truly missed more than words can express.

I know I speak for all, WE WILL BE HERE FOR YOU. I am asking in honor of your memories of Derek to contribute what you can.
