Give to the Baker Family: Medical Bills & Recovery

Hi Everyone,

My name is Jess Moran. I have known Ashley since I was 7 years old. She even drove me to highschool for a bit, torturing me with her country music and throwing an arm across me at every yellow light. Years ago, my mom donated a kidney to her mom. When I moved back to Virginia Beach, we reconnected and she invited me to church. I met my husband because of Ashley.

Chris grew up with my husband Sean. They rocked out together with amazing hair. Because of Chris, Sean went to a small church after a hard time. Sean met me there.

The Bakers have impacted more lives than we will ever be able to count. They have invited people into their home, fostered and adopted children, served others without a second thought, and given back every chance they had to do so.

Need a definition for generosity and love? It's them.

Many of you know that 6 years ago, Ashley received a kidney transplant. For some time, her body has been in a state of rejection. She recently contracted COVID, and it has hit her body and kidney devastatingly hard. As she starts dialysis and a continued hospital stay, with the likelihood of another transplant in the future, we would love to create an outpouring of support for the Baker family.

On top of medical bills, Chris and the kids will need services of their own to make sure physical and mental health needs are being cared for.
