We are coming together to support our dear friend and employee, Skylar & Trevor Ragusa, as he navigates the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of his beloved mother, Gwen Ragusa. This sudden loss has not only left an emotional void but also an immense financial burden.

Gwen was a woman full of love, life, and generosity—known for her adventurous spirit, stunning beauty, and unwavering compassion. Born on February 19, 1959, in Eunice, Louisiana, she grew up in Baton Rouge, where she became known for her beautiful singing voice in the Woodlawn High School chorus and her fearless rodeo skills. From horseback riding and bull riding to soaring the skies as a flight attendant, Gwen lived life boldly and with passion.

Her career took her in many directions, from founding Images Modeling Agency in Lafayette to lighting up the small screen as the host of the FOX44 Kids Club in Baton Rouge. Later, her compassionate nature led her to a fulfilling role in the funeral home industry, where she comforted countless families in their time of need. Most recently, she found joy as a new home sales consultant, helping others find their dream homes.

Beyond her accomplishments, Gwen’s heart was always open—whether it was welcoming people into her home with warm Cajun meals, caring for her beloved dogs, or simply being a source of kindness to those around her. But above all, her greatest joy in life was being a mother to Trevor, who was the light of her life.

As Trevor & Skylar and family grieve this devastating loss, they also face the financial strain of funeral expenses and time away from work. We are asking for your support to help ease this burden so that Trevor and his family can focus on healing and honoring Gwen’s beautiful life.
