The devastating Camp Fire has claimed many, many homes and some businesses and, sadly, some lives. My sister Mee Forbes, brother-in-law Robert Forbes, and my three beautiful nieces (Anabel age 16, Olivia age 11, Phoebe age 2) in this picture made it out alive. We thank God for watching over them! Their home, however, is gone, and their entire community has essentially been wiped out. The loss is tremendous. 

We realize my sister and her family is fortunate to have homeowners insurance which will help financially in the long recovery process. Extended family members without insurance are in even greater need. This fundraiser will help cover the needs that insurance will not cover as well as helping extended family members without any insurance. Extended family members include Aunt Diane (Diane Allen Martin), Aunt Colleen (Colleen Allen Arnold), Grandma Linda (Linda Forbes), Papou (Randy Lois, Sr) and Deborah Naef (Papou’s sister). Everyone of them lost their homes and everything in it. Aunt Diane and Aunt Colleen also both lost their vehicles. 

Funds raised through this effort will be distributed as needed where the needs are greatest...and the needs are great! My sister Mee Forbes is designated as the beneficiary to make the needed distributions.

Please continue to pray for the entire Paradise-Magalia community as they grieve and slowly begin the recovery process.
