Jeanne's Medical Fund

Jeanne Siegel is our dear friend and a loving mother. Jeanne has been diagnosed with cancer.
She is a single mother of two, currently going through a divorce. Her children, Kaia (12) and Kalani (9) adore
their mother. She has MDS or preleukemia that has attacked her bone marrow. Basically, her bone marrow is dead and has turned to scar tissue so she needs a bone marrow transplant to survive. From the outside, it is difficult to tell Jeanne is very ill. She keeps a smile
on her face and spreads her love and sunshine wherever she goes. Her family and friends would like to help Jeanne and her two children during this difficult
time.

Jeanne’s difficult journey has sucked every ounce of energy out of her. Since the diagnosis, Jeanne has been able to manage her disease by daily pain medication
and receiving blood transfusions every three weeks. The blood transfusions take 6 – 9 hours, which on top of driving two hours each way to City of Hope in
Los Angeles, has taken an emotional and physical toll on Jeanne. Her physicians and medical professionals have told her she can no longer buy time with the
blood transfusions and will need to find a transplant to have surgery.  The good news is that Jeanne
has found a matching transplant.  The not so good news is that Jeanne must now show she has enough money to pay for caregiving, medical and travel expenses post-surgery for a year in order for her to have the surgery. She is running out of time and is scared.

Our goal is to help raise those necessary funds Jeanne desperately needs to Save Her Life. I’ve heard
it many times before, “any donation small or big is greatly appreciated” it is so true for Jeanne and her children right now. It would be greatly appreciated if
we could all pull together and help raise as much as we can to help support the Siegel family. All funds will go directly to the family to support Jeanne while she
recovers and try to provide a stable and loving home for her children.
