In celebration of Black History month, The Black Law Student Association at The George Washington University Law School aims to raise money to provide financial support to returning DC residents.

As jails and prisons continue to reduce their inmate populations amid COVID-19, individuals are being reunited with friends and family. However, many return to a home that is largely unrecognizable. Exacerbated by gentrification, COVID-19 has stifled many economic and social-welfare opportunities. As a result, we hope to provide financial support to alleviate such burdens.

All donations will be used to provide financial support to returning DC residents. Donations of any amount are welcome and greatly appreciated. Thank you.
