Stand with a Student in Need

My name is Arely Moran, and I proudly serve as an Immigrant Student Ambassador in Staten Island. In my role, I support undocumented students in navigating the college application process while also helping them build leadership skills. Today, I am reaching out on behalf of a student I have come to know who is facing an unimaginable hardship. Amid the challenges our country is currently experiencing, his father has been taken from their family, forcing this young graduate to step into the role of provider far too soon. As he prepares to begin a new chapter after high school, he is burdened with responsibilities no child should have to carry alone. I am committed to supporting him and his family in any way possible, and I kindly ask for your help. Any donation, big or small, would make a meaningful difference and show them that they are not alone.

Me llamo Arely Moran y me enorgullece ser Embajadora de Estudiantes Inmigrantes en Staten Island. En mi función, apoyo a estudiantes indocumentados en el proceso de solicitud de ingreso a la universidad, a la vez que les ayudo a desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo. Hoy, me dirijo a un estudiante que conozco y que enfrenta una situación difícil. En medio de los desafíos que nuestro país atraviesa actualmente, su padre ha sido separado de la familia, lo que obliga a este joven graduado a asumir el rol de proveedor demasiado pronto. Mientras se prepara para comenzar una nueva etapa después de la preparatoria, carga con responsabilidades que ningún niño debería tener que asumir solo. Me comprometo a apoyarlo a él y a su familia de cualquier manera posible, y les pido su ayuda. Cualquier donación, grande o pequeña, marcaría una diferencia significativa y les demostraría que no están solos.
