When Hurricane Helene hit western North Carolina, the Green River flooded its banks and swept away many of the houses in the small town of Saluda, NC.

One of my best friends, Drew Hutchings, and his dog Jax evacuated from their house with just a few hours to spare. The flood washed away his house and all the roads surrounding it. As an independent contractor, he lost thousands of dollars worth of hardware and work tools. He lost most of his personal belongings and is starting from square one.

Any money donated here will be used to buy new tools for Drew so he can get back to work as soon as possible.
