Please Support My Basketball Dreams

Hi!

 

My name is Jaxson Weber, and I am a 12 years old and just started 6th grade. I live and breathe basketball, and I am determined to fulfill my dreams to play in the NBA.

 

I have been playing since I started walking, while watching my dad and brother train and play. I finally was old enough to join a team at 6 years old and played with the YMCA. Unfortunately Covid cut that short, but my training never stopped and I soon was able to join my AAU team in April 2021. My training ranges from 3-6 hours daily between conditioning and basketball training in addition to practice and games. I also play at local leagues like Boys and Girls Clubs to get me the reps I need.

 

I currently am part of Remy Select 7th grade AAU team and was very fortunate to have received the offer to play in the Remy Select 6th grade National team. It’s an amazing opportunity and gives me the chance to play against major competition in different parts of the US, work hard on my game…truly an experience I am grateful for and will cherish for ever!

 

While my parents are so supportive and do everything in their power to make my dreams and goals a reality, these are expenses, that on top of inflation, are hard to keep up with, since we have to travel to different states. They pay for everything for now. They work hard to provide my brother and I with what we need, and now with the travel and stay even cutting costs flying the least expensive way, driving everywhere we can- it just is so much. Not to mention all the money that goes into the AAU Championships and keeping up with the extensive training that has to be done off the court, to show up in these games.

Like my mom says, it takes a village.
