Empower The Red Cross's Humanitarian Mission

As members of Garnet Valley High School’s International Humanitarian Law Youth Action Campaign (IHL YAC), we are part of a national Red Cross initiative that empowers youth to explore and advocate for the rules of war and humanitarian principles. Through IHL YAC, we’ve learned how the Red Cross plays a vital role in disaster relief, humanitarian aid, and education on the laws of war. Now, we want to take action.

GVHS IHL YAC is launching a fundraiser to raise $5000 by April 23rd to support the American Red Cross’s lifesaving work—from disaster response to refugee assistance and IHL education.

Why This Matters

Every dollar raised helps provide emergency relief, medical aid, and humanitarian education to communities in need. Whether it’s aiding victims of natural disasters or promoting the principles of International Humanitarian Law, the Red Cross is at the forefront of global relief efforts.
