Journey of Hope for Ugandan Orphans
Donation protected
Hello, My Name is Libby,
I am an Australian woman with a heart thats bigger than my bank balance. I have always had enormous compassion to give to the less fortunate but I need the help of others like you who also have big hearts like me to donate funds towards the Journey of Hope, for the street children who are brought to the Child Rescue Mission in Uganda.
Once again this year, I am continuing to raise money to help some very sick little children living with HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Flesh eating worms, hearing loss, eyesight problems, lice/nits and some with 3rd degree burns (after being thrown into fires because they are unwanted) in a remote area of Kasese, Uganda.
The orphanage that these children are brought to live in is also in desperate need to buy a second-hand 4WD so that Reverend Michael Tiyo can drive these little children to hospital when they are sick, as well as to drive to find drinking water, which is often in excess of 2+ hours walk away.
Other Essential Items these children NEED urgentlyt are: mosquito nets, soap, sheets, blankets, clothing, shoes underwear, nappies and general medicines like panadol, bandaids, antiseptic creams, cottonbuds/balls, dettol, toothbrushes/toothpaste etc
Please read the children’s story below.
We are orphans at the Child Rescue Mission Uganda and some of us were born with the HIV/AIDS Virus. We also suffer from other illnesses such as Malaria and Jiggers (worms which eat the tips off fingers, toes, lips, nose and eyelids) and our parents are deceased.
Each time we get sick, Reverend Michael and other adults walk and carry us to the hospital which is 22 km away.
Last year, many of our brothers and sisters died on the way to the hospital and we cry because we miss and still love them so much.
We remember them and some of their names where: Bashir, Kule, Kafero, Matovu, Agnes and Basemera.
Please help us to also raise money to buy a second-hand 4WD to take us to hospital when we are sick OR donate to help us with medicines and clothing. Often the Nurse that comes to visit us does not have all the drugs to make us get better.
Please help us also get ‘1 Million Likes’ by sharing this on Facebook so we can let people know about our orphanage home or visit our website http://www.crmuganda.orgor

PLEASE DON’T LET US DIE! HELP US TO LIVE!

Please consider this very real appeal worthy of your generosity.
The difference your contribution would make to these beautiful children’s lives cannot be overstated.
It would give them security and an ability to focus on making the most of the huge difference this would make to their lives, to have the basic necessities like water, firewood & medical help more accessible – things that most of us are lucky enough to have close at hand when we need it.
Thank you so very much in advance for whatever you might be able to help with – the children will appreciate it more than words can say and the knowledge of the difference in the quality of life your generosity will mean to them is true reward indeed.
Libby.
