Jay Gunkelman Oral History
Jay Gunkelman is an icon in the field of EEG and QEEG. He has probably recorded and analyzed more EEGs than any other person in the field. His contributions to our understanding of basic EEG analysis, functions of the brain, abnormal processes and the EEG basis of human consciousness have been transmitted to thousands of students and professionals alike.
The aim of this fundraising effort is to do a comprehensive Oral History with Jay to track the history and development of EEG analysis and Jay's contributions along the way.
We already have a film crew, Shoot First Media, who is local and professional. Our plan is to shoot for 2 hours per day for 4 days to acquire enough footage to span the history of Jay's work from the beginning to the present. Most of the cost will be in editing the footage.
The final product will be posted online for all to learn about Jay's contributions and can be used by the public for teaching purposes.
