Linda Millar-Smith Medical Fund

Linda Millar-Smith, a local speech therapist, was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer.  Linda is the mother of two amazing young boys, a loving wife, and selfless daughter that has recently taken on caring for her mother.  She has worked with pediatrics for years before venturing into home health.  She has touched the lives of many young children and the elderly through her compassion and empathy that she relays to each one of her patients.  Linda’s unfailing faith has gotten her through some tough times in the recent years.  Two years ago her husband broke his back and is unable to work, leaving Linda as the sole provider for her family.  This past year her eldest son was diagnosed with a valve disorder that has led to chronic kidney problems and requires frequent trips to Stanford.  Throughout all of this Linda has remained strong and has always put others before herself. 

During Linda’s fight, we are reaching out to the community in which she has touched so many lives, for assistance.  Any gift will help as she prepares to hit this hard so she can get back to doing what she loves the most- helping others.
