Last Tuesday, 10/24/23, my father was struck and killed by a hit and run driver while crossing the street with his bike.
Here's a link to the story.

The driver has since been arrested and an investigation is underway.
A little about my father:
Francisco (Pancho) was a loving man with a good heart that enjoyed reminiscing and telling stories about his crazy adventures. People gravitated to him for his light hearted conversations and anyone who has had a conversation with him knows that he took every opportunity to recite a Bible passage to you because of his strong belief in God. He never hesitated to hug or be hugged and he always paid attention to detail so you if you changed your hairstyle, style of dress, or put on some weight, he definitely told you he noticed lol.
He never really had the right words, but that didn’t matter. He knew how to make people laugh, especially at the wrong time, which made it the right time because it always softened the tension. He was a free spirit that wasn’t dealt the best hand in life, and unfortunately the same is now true of his death.
Our family’s only comfort is that his beautiful spirit is now actually free. May he rest in peace.
Pease keep us in your prayers.
