Brynn's Brave Battle

Most people are never forced to experience even one of the challenges that Jonathan and Kristin Kline have. After finding out that they would be expecting a daughter, they learned at 20 weeks in utero she would require a surgical procedure to correct a heart defect. Kristin and Jonathan put their trust in God that their daughter would have a smooth delivery and be able to grow strong and healthy in preparation for the imminent surgery.
On April 2, 2013, Kristin and Jonathan were blessed with Brynn Laree Kline. She was perfect. While enjoying being new parents and loving every milestone she reached, they were also focused on getting her as healthy and strong as possible for the upcoming surgery.
On September 25, 2013, when Brynn was only 5 months old, Kristin and Jonathan waited anxiously and prayerfully while their daughter endured an invasive open heart surgery. Their prayers were answered and the surgery went perfectly. Ever the fighter, Brynn made a full recovery...
As new parents, Jonathan and Kristin's unbreakable faith and ability to lean on each other as well as trust in God helped them during this unimaginable time with their new baby girl. They've always done everything they can to meet Brynn's needs and immediately became involved in Down Syndrome support groups where they learn from other parents and are role models themselves as well. They nurture their faith and church community by serving weekly and participating in bible study groups.
Even before she was born, Brynn was presented with a battle that she was able to overcome. She is now a smiley, happy girl who loves to say "Hi!" to everyone she meets. She especially loves "The Wheels on the Bus", blueberries, salty snacks, and of course her Mommy and Daddy. Even though she might say Daddy just a little bit more ;-)
For reasons no one can understand, Brynn is now facing another battle. She has been diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia. It's difficult to comprehend why this bubbly, perfect girl is being faced with such an ugly disease, especially after all she has conquered in her 2 short years. Her family and friends trust in God's love and strength and know that Brynn will be victorious again.
During this difficult time, we ask for your prayers, positive thoughts, and any monetary donation that you can contribute to Brynn and her parents as they embark on this battle to assist with her treatment and medical expenses.
