With heavy hearts, we are heartbroken over the passing of our dad, Joe Griffie—a man whose strength, love, and devotion to his family, he always put us first. Our dad truly touched everyone who knew him.

He was the kind of dad who showed up for his kids, his family and his friends. He worked hard all of his life, he loved deeply, and lived simply, always putting others before himself. He gave generously and never asked for anything in return.

As we prepare to honor his life and say goodbye for now, we’re facing a financial situation of funeral expenses. We want to give dad the funeral and burial that he deserves.

For the past five plus years dad’s health declined significantly. He had heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, and diabetes. He struggled and the finances depleted and at the end of his life the only income was their social security, which wasn’t enough. Their home was refinanced they he have no burial insurance. He did purchase him and my mother a plot at Exeter cemetery.

We’re asking for support from friends, family, and anyone who knew him. Every donation , no matter how much, will help us cover the costs of the funeral service, burial, and related expenses.
