We're reaching out with heavy hearts and a plea for urgent help. My cousin's sweet dog, Pretty, was just diagnosed with a serious and life-threatening condition called pyometra — a dangerous uterine infection that is fatal without emergency surgery.

Pyometra comes on fast and silently. It causes the uterus to fill with pus, and once it begins to spread, it can lead to sepsis, kidney failure, and death — often in just a matter of days. Pretty’s vet told us she will not survive past tomorrow without surgery.

The cost of the surgery is $2,000, and unfortunately, it's more than we can manage on such short notice.

Pretty is a young, loving, vibrant pup with so much life left to live. With this surgery, she can go on to live many more healthy, happy years. Without it… we could lose her forever.
