Hello, my name is Emma McBride. My husband of almost 20 years stopped breathing in the early morning hours of May 15th. We tried to get him back and while we did get his pulse back, his brain suffered too much damage to recover. Anyone who knew Guy knew he would give you the shirt off of his back. Anything he did, he did passionately. He would always be the first to stand up for what was right and be the last one to sit down. He loved his family fiercely and there will forever be a hole that can never be filled. Guy was an organ donor so at the time of me writing this, he is going through testing to see what is viable. They are doing a brain scan today, May 16th where they will determine a time of death. Once that has occurred, he will be transferred to Indianapolis so he can start his gift(s) of life. Most know that I have a hard time asking for help. Guy did not have life insurance, nor did we have savings to give him the proper funeral and memorial he so rightly deserves.
