Guy passed away peacefully on Tuesday night in Invermere Hospital, he felt the love as e was surrounded by his family ❤️

In April 2018 Guy was diagnosed with a very advanced and aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. By the time the tests were all complete the results showed that the cancer had spread to multiple other organs and he was given an estimated 2-3 weeks with his family and loved ones. When he makes his final departure, Guy will leave behind his loving wife Fran, 3 amazing children (Chris, Lindsey & AJ), a daughter in-law (Venessa), a son-law (Andrew), 4 grandchildren (Jayden, Ava, Paige & Logan) and countless other loved ones.
Guy’s immense bravery in the face of this horrible cancer has astounded us all. He has been kind to everyone and continues to smile at each and every person who comes into his room. Guy is selfless and continues to worry about his family without concern for himself. We all admire how he is handling everything and continue to be humbled with his overwhelming love for his family.
The diagnoses and severity of Guy’s cancer has surprised and stunned everyone who knows and loves him. The unexpectedness and extremely short timeline have added worry on top of the emotions around actively losing a loved one. We want to ease the financial burden that comes with losing someone so suddenly. This support fund will help to cover the upcoming funeral costs, as well as help with the financial stress for Fran as she prepares for a life without Guy after more than 40 years of marriage. Any donation, no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated. Although broken, we thank you with all of our hearts.
