Uganda Fellowship.. bringing equality to education

The possibility of making an impact beyond my own classroom has been heavy on my heart for a while. I recently too a huge leap of faith, I applied for a fellowship in Guyana and was accepted!
Over 60% of teachers in Guyana go straight into the profession right after secondary school. There's a lack of resources within the schools, and education isn't necessarily held at high regards. Today, over 190 million children around the world cannot read or write, because of failure to provide quality education.
I will be going to Guyana in June with a group called LRTT, and will be working alongside Ministry of Education. Our vision is to unlock the potential of EVERY child, despite their circumstances. The goal is to help make improvements to educational inequalities within Guyana and around the world.
I know God has big plans in store! Please pray that He continue to mold my heart into exactly what He needs for this trip, and that I can play out His will through this opportunity.
There are expenses such as the trip fee, visa and travel costs, housing, and more that come along with this opportunity and I am hoping to fundraise for a portion of it. If you feel lead to donate, you can do so through this Go Fund Me. But please don't feel like it's necessary, when it's His will, I know God will provide in the end:)
