En nombre de mi familia utilizo este medio debido a que mi tío LUIS MONTES MEINHARDT (ex comandante de Los Bomberos) está en Venezuela y necesita toda nuestra ayuda lo antes posible, tiene 94 años y necesita una "cirugía urgente". ha sido diagnosticado las siguientes condiciones médicas:
“On behalf of my family, I use this mean due to my uncle LUIS MONTES MEINHARDT (former firefighters chief commander) is in Venezuela and needs all our help as soon as possible, he is 94 years old and he needs an "urgent surgery". He has been diagnosed with the follow medical conditions:”
1. Obstrucción urinaria severa.
2. Hiperplasia prostática.
3. Cardiopatía isquémica crónica.
4. Síndrome anémico (Sea anémico).

2. Prostatic hyperplasia.
3. Chronic Ischemic Heart Disease.
4. Anemic Syndrome (Anemic Sea).)
Conforme pasan los días y se reduce la posibilidad de recuperación total y mi familia no cuenta con los recursos económicos para cubrir los gastos de los gastos médicos, por un costo tan alto (* $ 15,000 USD aproximadamente *), debe ser operado lo antes posible y el sistema de salud gratuito venezolano está colapsado sin posibilidad de obtener servicios médicos a través de él.

Luis Montes Meinhardt: Bombero desde los 16 años, llegó a ser comandante de los bomberos de Caracas a principios de los años 70’s; siendo comandante se creó el Instituto de Bomberos a fin de ayudar a la profesionalización de éstos; varios bomberos fueron también enviados a estudiar al exterior para especializarse en áreas relacionadas con su actividad. Se dotó el cuerpo de bomberos de un servicio de ambulancias para atender emergencias y colaborar en actividades de rescate; luego de retirarse, contribuyó a la formación de Fundabomberos, el seguro médico y de hospitalización de ellos(hoy en día no existe). Es reconocido como un baluarte dentro de la actividad bomberos en Venezuela. Adicionalmente finales de los años 90 fue Presidente de Acción Voluntaria de Hospitales, que por medio de la Entidad ayudó a muchas personas de bajos recursos en Venezuela para lograr sus operaciones y tratamientos.
He has been with the firemen since he was 16 years old. Eventually he came to be the commander of the Caracas’s Firemen Department at the beginning of the 70’s. While in that position, he tried to professionalize the department and the Firemen Institute was created (Firemen without a bachelor degree could get one there and some of them got scholarships to specialize abroad). A service of ambulances was created to coordinate the rescue works when emergencies occurred. After his retirement, he contributed to create “Fundabomberos”, an insurance agency for firemen, who then could afford top quality medical services that otherwise couldn’t afford (it’s been dismantled nowadays). Luis Montes is seen as one of the pillars of the Venezuelan Firemen
